Shot through my trews - The Sun
A BRITISH soldier escaped with just a graze when a Taliban bullet ripped right through his TROUSERS.
Cpl James Price, 27, was hit as he manned a machine-gun on an armed Land Rover during an ambush in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He later found the bullet inside a radio in the vehicle.
Mercian Regiment comrade, dad-of-three Pte Leon Wilson, 32, cheated death last month when a bullet pierced his helmet but missed his head by 2mm.
Cpl Price said: “We’ve joked that with Wilson’s helmet, a set of Osprey armour and my lucky trousers, you’d be indestructible!”
