VIDEO: Afghanistans first course for female army officers
Thirty Afghan females are being put through their paces at the country's first ever course for female army officers.

The Helmand blog is run by PJHQ and the team from UK Forces Media Ops. Given the conditions for women over there, these individuals are amazing.
ReplyDeleteInteresting blog and I suppose a start; however, long term, cultural issues may be their biggest problem in terms of men/women working together for this to fully succeed.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, if women are joining the ANA/ANP, it may encourage more men to do so or, an ALL female army - it could well work. Good Luck
